Disable Windows Customer Experience Improvement via Group Policy

To disable via GPO
  • Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Internet Communication Management, and then click Internet Communication settings
  • Turn off Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program
  • Set to Enabled

Disable tasks
Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Windows > Application Experience folder.
Disable:
- AITAgent
- ProgramDataUpdater

Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Windows > Customer Experience Improvement Program
Disable:
- Consolidator
- KernelCEIPTask
- Use CEIP
Applies to
Windows Server 2008
Windows Vista
Windows 7
